After I adopted my first puppy, I didn't train him very well. I was too afraid of him getting "mad at me" to scold him when he did naughty puppy things, like chewing up my shoes. I thought he would grow out of some of his bad habits, but it didn't seem like he was. I asked another dog owner at the dog park for advice, and he told me that dogs really enjoy being trained, and proper training actually makes them happier. After that conversation, I started taking my dog to a local training center and he seemed to really love being there! He soon stopped his bad habits and even learned fun tricks. I want to share my dog training tips with anyone out there who needs them and help everyone learn that a well-trained pet is a happy pet!

When it comes to protection dogs, the two most common breeds are German Shepherds and Belgium Malinois. Both of these breeds are incredibly smart, and they are easy to train. This makes them excellent as protection dogs. Many protection dogs are previous police dogs or military dogs that are ready to retire. However, because these dogs are trained for a specific purpose, it is important that they are placed in homes where they can contain to perform these skills. These dogs can provide you the protection that you need in a variety of situations. Here are two reasons to purchase a personal protection dog.
You Live Alone
If you live alone in your home, this can be somewhat scary for you. Rather than worrying about every bump and noise that you hear, you can instead purchase a personal protection dog to help you decipher these noises. Protection dogs have a heightened sense of smell and very keen hearing, along with their extensive training. This allows them to decipher what noises you actually need to be worried about, and what ones are simply "bumps in the night". They will generally growl or bark if a noise is considered dangerous.
